KISS is finally in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
In the weeks leading up to the event, the group's four inducted members -- Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley -- have been waging battles in the media against the Rock Hall and each other. But Simmons said in his acceptance speech that the point of the evening was to say thanks and celebrate what they created together.
Stanley added that while it was a special night for KISS, it was particularly momentous for their fans, calling the group's induction "vindication."
KISS' long-awaited induction is coming 15 years after the band was eligible for the honor. The legendary rockers were welcomed at the 29th annual Induction Ceremony at the Barclays Center in New York Thursday night.
