Friday was Valentine's Day.  Or was it?  I'm not sure because we didn't really have one.  Both our kids were sick.  The day before we found out that Taylor had a double ear infection.  Which was not good, but we could manage.  Then the next day, on Valentine's Day, Jack started to get a fever.  It skyrocketed to 104 in the afternoon.  We decided to take him to urgent care to see what was up.  Turns out the little dude had signs of pre pnuemonia.  WTF?  So most of the evening, Debra spent it at urgent care and I stayed home with Taylor.  What can you do?  When you have kids these things happen.  I am happy to report both kids are on the mend.  And that is all that really matters.  There will be plenty of other Valentine's Days to celebrate.

One of my favorite things to watch is NBA All Star Saturday night.  I don't even watch the game, but never miss the dunk contest.  I actually prefer the 3 point shootout.  They messed with the format a bit this year and made it East vs. West.  They keep trying to find the magic for the dunk contest.  It will never be as big as when Jordan was in it unless LeBron decides to do it.  Which he probably won't.  There was one good dunk and it was the winning dunk.  John Wall threw it down.  Check it out...
