It was June of 2004 and we had just moved to San Diego from San Jose to replace Howard Stern in mornings.  I was 26 years old and this was the biggest move of my life/career.  To be honest I didn't want to leave San Jose.  I had grown up there, all my friends were there and I was on a successful morning show on the radio station I grew up listening to as a kid.  But the company really wanted us down here and who would say no to moving to San Diego?????  I can't believe that was 10 years ago now!!!!!!

This picture was taken when we were getting settled into our new studio.  I remember they were still doing construction on the studio to get it to fit our needs.  They were in the middle of installing a piece of sound proof glass in-between the big studio and a smaller studio behind me where you can barely see Boy Blunder (AKA Rick) working in the corner.  We took a few of these Polaroid type of pictures that day.  I specifically remember taking one of these pictures and dropping it in the wall before they installed the big piece of glass.  I think I even wrote our names and the date on the picture and called it my own little time capsule.  That studio is now in a part of this building that is no longer used.  I wonder if that picture is still there?
