I was 21 years old and had been interning with the afternoon host of a Rock radio station up in San Jose for about 6 months. I finally get myself on the payroll. But to get myself on the payroll I had to take on about 15 jobs...assistant, promotions, board-op, traffic reports AND I got my own overnight DJ shift. You know the person that is on from like midnight to 5am.....that was me!!!!! They wanted to put me on the website and asked me to send them a picture. But I didn't have any "DJ" pictures. So a friend in the office took this sweet shot of me in my Fresh From Detox t-shirt and that became my first official DJ picture for the stations website.............
