Another great 4th of July in Bird Rock. The theme of this years parade in our neighborhood of Bird Rock was Dr. Seuss. I rocked a Cat in the Hat hat, while my daughter was too cool and just wanted to wear red, white and blue. There we only a few legit floats this year but a ton of people and the block party at the end (food, band, facepaintintg, etc..) was legit...........
Finally around 5pm we got the hubby to stop working at the house and join us at a friends pool party. Only bummer was right after the hubby showed up the mood of the party changed real fast when one of the Dad's cracked his head open on the bottom of the pool. Poor guy, luckily there was a doctor at the party and a few sober people to get him to the hospital. I was able to get this one fun family selfie before everyone went into emergency mode.............
