I've tried to get both my kids to love Star Wars as much as I do their whole lives. It hasn't happened yet. They kind of like it but nowhere near as much as I do. But I got them Star Wars stuff to try and bribe them into loving it. So Jack has multiple lightsabers. This was when we was little and I made him be on the dark side and fight me.
