I am now officially 42 for the next year! Yesterday was a nice bday. It seems like everyone got the memo that I need new sweaters. So pretty much everyone got me new grandma sweaters for my bday. I love them all so much!!!!! They are perfection! Only issue is I know with every sweater gifted the gift giver is assuming that I will be getting rid of one of my old holey sweaters. We shall see. I came into work yesterday morning to be greeted with a birthday sign from the people at iHeartMedia San Diego. Who knew two other amazing female radio talents share the same bday, Ladona (KOGO) and Marty (XTRA Sports).
Then it is gifts from The Show. You can see the pile of gifts Eddie, Emily and Dario got me behind this card from Thor. The "Thank You" card that he turned into a bday card came in a second hand envelope and had a check inside as my gift. On the memo line for the check he wrote "Birthday". LOL....typical Thor!
Then I got home to be greeted with gifts from the family. Bag full of new sweaters. A flood light for the side yard...WTF?!?!?! And a flower picked from a potted plant in our yard that they hubby was claiming was a flower he had flown in all the way from Hawaii........
After school pickup, swimming and soccer practice, the babysitter arrived so the hubby and I could hit the town. We just ended up going to dinner down the street and then to North Park to see Griz perform at the Observatory. Had a super fun night even if I was the oldest chick in the place!
