In the summer of 2016, I almost lost my life. I was doing the 50 things to do in San Diego list and it was much more difficult than I ever imagined. One of the tasks I had to do was kayak in the ocean. I figured this would be a fun one and asked Sky and Thor if they wanted to go. They did and we all went out. Well the surf was pretty high that day and Sky and I tried to paddle out but a wave took us out. She literally flew into the air and on top of me. It was insane! Needless to say we have never gone kayaking again.
