Sky's Old House - Poisoned Tree & Property Lines

I have briefly mentioned before that we are having issues with one of our new neighbors in regards to property lines. The guy claims that 5 feet of his property is on our side of the fence and runs all along one side of property. He started claiming this after we planted hedges in that area that eventually one day will block a small portion of his 180 degree ocean/bay/downtown/Mexico view. He has tried to get us to sign legal documents acknowledging that he owns that land in our yard. Totally, I'm going to sign part of my land over to you just because you say so....not gonna happen! This is the guy who was caught on tape when we were out of town for a funeral topping our hedges and who allegedly poisoned and killed a tree in our yard during the remodel prior to us moving in. He claims that said tree and our hedges are on "his property so he owns them". So as cash and time strapped as we are with finishing our year long remodel we had to pay almost $3,000 to have a professional survey company come out and mark all of our property lines. Luckily as we suspected none of our stuff is on his property. About a foot and a half of his property is in our yard but luckily nothing is planted on it. And guess what, a foot and a half of our property is in our other neighbors yard but we aren't going to be dicks about it like this dude! Now I need to figure out what to do next...show up on his door with the documents, call him on the phone, send a certified letter, etc... It is not easy when you are dealing with someone who doesn't play by the normal rules of society. Here is a picture of the property line stake which shows the tree trunk he allegedly poisoned is NOT at all on his property!!!
