Friday night's Tool show was awesome! Since I'm not in my early 40's my concert definition of "awesome" might be a bit different from yours. Friday night I got the daughter off to her friends house for a sleepover. The hubby and I had a nice dinner at home with some drinks. Caught an Uber to the venue and sat in our seats about 5 minutes before Tool hit the stage. Enjoyed a killer show. Left midway through the encore and was pulling away in our Uber as the massive crowds spilled out into the streets. It was perfection!
Tool has a very strict no photo policy when they are performing. I was way too scared to take a picture but the guy sitting next to me wasn't (who I may or may-not have know) so I asked him to send me one. A really cool moment (which I found on YouTube) was when drummer Danny Carey did a tribute to Rush drummer Neil Peart who had just died earlier that day...............
