Holy crap....I think I might actually be human again?!?!?!? I got infected with the flu last weekend and today is the first day I don't feel like I might die. I probably would have recovered sooner but once the hubby went down I had to go into full time caretaker mode. I slept most of the weekend and honestly still felt like death yesterday afternoon. But I had a real dinner last night and had this Cold Buster juice (carrots, ginger, jalapeno, etc...) from this Mexican place and I am feeling 75% human today. My to-do list is ridiculous because everything got put on the back-burner so I could take care of the family and try to rest myself. This weekend I finally put away my Valentine's cards that were still sitting on our kitchen counter. My daughter really impressed me this year with her thoughtful cards to me and the hubby. On her own she printed out two of our favorite pictures and then drew them on Valentine's cards for us. She even included the printout just in case we weren't able to figure out what she drew. I will save these forever!
