Yesterday was home school day #2 for our 4th grade daughter. Day #1 was great. I came home from work on Monday to a finished checklist and happy faces. Yesterday was the opposite. I came home to a frustrated daughter who claims Dad wouldn't help her and to a frustrated husband who claims our daughter can't do anything by herself. Is this really only Day #2?!?!?!? Luckily later in the day we got back on track with some family video games and board games. As I was going to bed last night I was reminded of a sweet moment I caught when we were in Hawaii. One night I was going to bed early but the hubby and daughter weren't tired yet. I put my pjs on, wash my face, etc and as I jump in bed I can see them out the bedroom door and immediately know what was going on just by looking at them. The daughter was trying to teach the hubby a TikTok dance. It was so freaking cute. I had to snap some pictures from laying in bed without them knowing. Hopefully I'll come home to a cute moment like this today...........
