Whoops...Flooded Bathroom

This weekend we ran our A/C for the very first time ever. We moved into our newly remodeled house late last year. We are loving our new home. That is the great thing about doing a full home remodel is you get to make everything the way you like it. The negative is all the stress, money and hard work that you have to put in to get everything perfect. After a year of work we moved in but still have a whole list of projects left to do. In addition to our list of projects it looks like we are also still finding things that might now have been done 100%....like the drainage connection for our A/C. Saturday it was hot and we turned our A/C on for the first time. The family was out in the yard enjoying the pool. We come in after a few hours and notice the floor of the guest bathroom is flooded and water is coming out of vanity. I am confused cause the water is not coming out of the cabinet under the sink but out of the bottom of the drawer next to it. The hubby comes in and investigates and finds that the A/C drainage was never hooked into the sink drain. Whoops! This is the kinda stuff that happens when you have a bunch of different trades trying to work together. Not sure if this was a plumbing issue or an A/C issue. But either way the hubby says he is just going to get the parts and fix it himself. So thankful that we have all tile floors and that we caught it sooner than later.
