Are we still doing this social distance thing? Cause my family still is but based on what I saw and heard over the weekend not sure many people are anymore. Either way I had a nice stay at home Mother’s Day. Woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. I am AWLAYS the weekend breakfast cook so it was super special to get breakfast in bed. The hubby had to basically make it all cause the daughter was in a mood. But I wasn’t going to let her bring me down so I just thanked him and enjoyed it with a smile. Luckily she came around later in the day. We had a nice relaxing afternoon at home. Did a Zoom with my parents and brothers family. My daughter made a really sweet card and they went with an interesting gift choice....shoes???? The hubby described them as socks on top and shoes on the bottom...best of both worlds he says. Not the most attractive footwear out there. But you know me, if they are comfy (we will wait and see) then I am all about it!
