What a wild experience as a first time manager. Our league had me put together a team to compete in a tournament that started on Wednesday and played through the weekend. It was my first time as a manager. We got the win on Wednesday and played again on Friday. We dropped the game on Friday and that sent us into a wild weekend. We had to play back to back double headers to win the whole thing! We won both games on Saturday to have us play yesterday in the semifinals. The kids were exhausted. So was I! But the kids played hard and we sent the game into extra innings. We ended up losing it in extras and were eliminated. But man it was an amazing experience. This group of boys really bonded and came together quickly. It was so much fun and I couldn't be prouder of them. No more baseball for a while. Not sure what I'm going to do with myself now!
