Back in the day, safety wasn't like it is now. We are a little overprotective when it comes to our kids these days. But this was the other extreme. When I was little, children's products and what we did with kids were a little different. Just look up a set of lawn darts from back then! Looking at these pictures gives me anxiety. That's me sitting with my sister on that motorcycle ride at some carnival. It doesn't look very safe at all. I feel like I need a tetanus shot just looking at it. I'm also siting by myself on the carousel ride. I don't think I'm even 2 yet. Yikes! Things were just different back then I guess.
