Its a good thing that Tony Soprano got into sanitation because the Many Saints of Newark is trash. I was so bummed after watching this movie because of how big of a fan of the Sopranos I was. This movie basically has nothing to do with the series. Its all about Tony's uncle Dickie, who was never in the series. Tony idolized Dickie and it is supposed to show how he influenced Tony's life. I felt like the movie was a mess. Its jumps all over the place and doesn't really have a true center. If you watch the trailer it seems like it's a lot about Tony and how he was a tough kid who is a trouble maker, but it isn't. The one thing I can say they did well was cast people that looked like the actors from the series. The guys that play Paulie and Silvio are great. But they are barely in it. I wanted so much more but it just didn't feel right. Big disappointment. I want to fugettaboutit!
