One of the fun things we did over vacation was go tide pooling. It was right before Christmas when we had a King Tide. I think that means when the tide is super high but then goes out super far all in the same day.....something like that. All I know is that when the tide is out that far it makes for great tide pooling. The daughter and I went to one of our favorite spots in Bird Rock and saw some cool stuff. At the bottom I put a picture of what a normal tide looks like at this spot so you can see how crazy far the water went out. Super fun!
