320,000 people participated in an Instagram poll that asked what state was their least favorite. California topped the list with a total of 9 states weighing in against it. Among the Golden State haters: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado (all the states that surrounds California).
The poll was created by Matt Shirley, a Los Angeles-based illustrator and amateur researcher. Shirley's informal poll also found that people in California dislike Texas most, and perhaps the most alarming discovery is that people in Florida like their own state the least.
