Chad Smith Art Exhibit Comes To San Diego

The six-time Grammy Award winning Red Hot Chili Pepper's drummer is taking his art on the road where it will be featured at the EC Gallery in Solana Beach from February 27 - March 1, 2020.

Chad Smith is one of rocks’ most iconic drummers, leading a generation redefining music as the drummer for Red Hot Chili Peppers and changing culture as an advocate for music and the arts. This incredible musician is also know as a philanthropist and fine artist who has just embarked on a North American fine art tour for 2020. Road Show Company presents: In collaboration with SceneFour: The Art of Chad Smith. 

The third stop on the tour will be Solana Beach in San Diego County. Smith has chosen Solana Beach based on the region’s rich history of supporting music and the arts. The Art of Chad Smith opens at EC Gallery in Solana Beach beginning Thursday February 27, 2020 and extends through Sunday, March 1, 2020.

The iconic drummer will be making two live, in-person meet-the-artist appearances at the gallery: Saturday, February 29 from 5:00-8:00 pm and Sunday, March 1 from Noon – 3:00 pm. All artwork will be on exhibition and available for acquisition. A six-time GRAMMY winning, member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Guinness World Record holder, Chad is a force. A 30-year member of Red Hot Chili Peppers, he has over 50 album/EP/compilation records to his name, was the host of the PBS TV series “Landmarks Live in Concert, and outspoken advocate for the arts, and was appointed by President Obama as a “Turnaround Artist for Public Schools”. In 2016 Chad began marrying music with art and launched his 1 st art collection.
