Grocery Store Censors Graduation "Summa Cum Laude" Phrase On Grad Cake

You just can't make this stuff up!  Claims one woman after receiving her sons censored graduation cake.  The mother isn't happy when she noticed that the cake that was supposed to read "Congrats Jacob!  Summa Cum Laude class of 2018" was censored and the latin word 'cum' had been hyphenated.

Cara Koscinski ordered her sons graduation cake online from Publix  and she said that the online message box did not like the word "cum," the Latin word for "with."  Instead the computer marked the word with three hyphens.

Koscinski saw that this happened but still added a memo in the special instructions field, explaining the Latin word and still placed the $70 order. She claims that another family member picked up the cake and never looked at the cake nor did they know what the cake was supposed to say.  The cake included the hyphens.

She returned to the store to complain and they gave her a complete refund and a gift card but claims her son was humiliated and didn't want to have to explain to their 70 year old mother why the innocent Latin word 'cum' was censored off of the cake.
