A mesmerizing video called "Light Moves" shows the play of light through stained glass windows. The video was compiled using time-lapse photography shot by Colin Winterbottom at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.
The inner walls of the cathedral became a canvas for the myriad of colors, shapes and light prisms created as the sun passed over the many large and elaborate stained glass windows of this neo-Gothic structure in our nation's capital. The whole process is truly magical.
The photographer had a unique opportunity to set up the camera on elevated scaffolding while the cathedral underwent repairs for earthquake damage.
