Tom Hanks and Wife Rita Test Positive For Coronavirus

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson confirmed today that they have both tested positive for COVID-2019, the coronavirus. In a post made on his Instagram account, Hanks explained that both he and his wife are currently in Australia and that they have not been feeling well, with cold-like symptoms and body aches.

Both Tom Hanks and his wife Rita are 63-years old. Likely because of their heavy travel schedule, medical officials required that they be tested, and now that the diagnosis is been confirmed, they couple will be isolated and observed. In his social post, Hanks says they will take it one-day-at-a-time.

"Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive. Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no? We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves! Hanx!"
