Other highly anticipated albums include:

Rammstein

It has been 9 years since they've put out any new material but all signs are pointing to an end in their drought for 2018.  The band is set to hit the studio in February for some preproduction.  We are looking forward to that electro-rock guttueral native-tongued vocals and a song or five about kinky sex.

Ghost

With the huge success of "Square Hammer" and a lawsuit from ex-members and an epic tour with Iron Maiden has led to an up and down year for Ghost which sets a dramatic stage for album number 4.

Behemoth

Behemoth is bak in the studio working on new music since it's 2014 The Satanist. The group says they have about 12 songs finished and they are working on other material.  "Magick is happening," Adam "Nergal" Darski reported on social media.

Slayer

Kerry King told Revolver Magazine earlier this year that it is definitely conceivable that there could be a new album from the band in 2018.  He insists that there is still a wealth of material left over from the last record "Repentless" and that they already have like 6-8 songs recorded.

Megadeth

Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson plan on spending the early part of 2018 writing songs for their follow-up album to Dystopia which was perhaps their best received album since the 1992 Countdown to Extinction. The new album will be the first to feature new drummer Dirk Verbeuren (from soilwork).
