The Walking Dead is my favorite TV show and has been since I started watching it 4 or 5 years ago. The season finale just aired a few weeks ago and now we have to wait till October for the new season. That is nothing new but this new is devastating!
The Walking Dead is set to start filming in May but the Writers in Hollywood may go on strike like they did a few years ago! If that happens it will delay the filming of Walking Dead and who knows when it will air! It affects all shows but Walking Dead is by far the best and they have such a short season!

If the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers can’t reach an agreement by May 1, the WGA, who want more money (writing jobs pay less than they used to thanks to shorter seasons) and better healthcare, will go on strike the next day. “Should this occur,” executive director David J. Young said, “writing for television, feature films, and digital series will cease. Some scripted series scheduled to air in the summer of 2017 may be affected as writing and producing for the season is ongoing.”
