Man trying to take scenic photos of his Land Rover along the Jersey Shore beach ended up trying to dig the vehicle out after it became water-logged and filled with sand and began to sink.
In the video you can see the man try to dig the vehicle out as the tide comes up and splashes against the car.
Police say that the tow truck was able to retrieve the SUV quite easily because the tide was low enough, but the driver insisted on driving the vehicle after it was retrieved even though its lights were flashing and the engine was making strange sounds.
