Mark your calendars now for the El Cajon Harley-Davidson Harley Owners Group (HOG) 4th Annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle Ride on November 19, 2017. Directly benefiting the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program in San Diego, our goal is 5,000 new unwrapped toys appropriate for infants through 12 years old for donation to the U. S. Marine Corps Reserves, going towards the target of 58,000 toys for distribution to children in the San Diego region.
It is much more than just a motorcycle ride. It is all about toys. Starting at El Cajon Harley-Davidson, registration begins at 7am and the ride begins at 10am. The ride destination is the Del Mar Race Track, where our partner the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club (DMTC) is hosting a special race, the Del Mar Toys for Tots Ride, and is also encouraging their patrons to bring in toys to support this worthy cause. For example, bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the track on 19 November provides entry to the races that day. You do not have to be a motorcyclist to join in the event and support Toys for Tots, local car club have also rolled out in support.
