When the wildfires forced this young woman to flee her home on Monday morning she wouldn't leave without her dog.
Natasha Wallace was on her way home when she saw exactly how close the fires were to her home and she immediately realized that she needed to evacuate quickly.
Wallace initially jumped in her car and tried to flee but with fires approaching quickly she found herself stuck in traffic. She had to go back home and get her bicycle and grabbed a duffel bag
"So, I grabbed my dog and I told him, 'Hey man, this is serious, you need to just sit in the bag.' And he, he hopped right in," Wallace said.
Wallace made it down the road holding her dog in her arms when a man in a truck stopped to pick the pair up and took them the rest of the way out.
