Study: Parents Who Let Their Teenagers Drink Only Invite Trouble

Seems to make sense: you let your kids drink at home where they will be supervised by an adult rather than out partying and driving home drunk. However, a new study claims that parents who let their children drink aren't doing them any favors.

According to a study conducted by Lancet Public Health claims that teens that are allowed to drink in the home won't be exposed to the harms of drinking and may be more likely to  drink heavily and suffer alcohol related harms and  says "Providing alcohol to adolescents, he said, implies that parents approve of drinking. I don’t think it’s complex. I think it’s that simple.”
