After a two-day investigation, Florida authorities have identified the suspect who's been burglarizing a high school vending machine...a raccoon.
The furry bandit was caught red-handed Wednesday, ending a crime spree that's spanned more than two days. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office tweeted a picture of the raccoon in the act, writing, "This gentleman was apprehended today while committing a burglary of a vending machine at Pine Ridge High School."
There's no word on what charges he'll be facing.
Raccoons are incredibly dexterous and clever - they also like a good snack, so it's no surprise that one figured out how to crawl inside a vending machine.
