We are back from a week off. After much discussion we decided to go to Vegas. Sky and I along with our families went to Las Vegas for a few days and man was it a different experience for several reasons. For one, we had our kids with us. We brought the kids because they were able to Zoom from the rooms and still do schoolwork. We were going to trade off kids and let the adults go to dinners but in the end we just took them with us and we all ate together. Thor even drove out at one point! Being on a plane for the first time was a trip too. Luckily it was only an hour flight, so wearing the mask wasn't terrible. But Vegas isn't messing around with masks. You had to wear it inside at all times. So by the end of the trip, I had developed a little rash from wearing it so much! But overall it was cool to getaway and do something. Strange but still good.
