Well our run has come to an end. Our Little League team had a heck of a run. We won the minors division and represented La Mesa in the Tournament of Champions. We dropped the first game in a tough one 2-1. That sent us down to the losing side of the bracket. Double elimination. But our boys fought hard. We won on Thursday 7-3. Then won again on Friday in another nail biter 3-2. But having to play a 3rd game in a row was tough. Our 4 best pitchers were all ineligible. We ended up losing 12-6. I am so incredibly proud of these boys. They never gave up. Jack told me after what a fun season it was and he loved having me as his coach. That meant everything. We drowned our sorrows in a little Fosters Freeze milkshake after the game. An amazing season and one I'll never forget. Go Vipers!
