It's National Beer Lovers Day this Wednesday, September 7.
If you're a self-proclaimed beer lover then you probably already know what your favorite brews are. But have you ever wondered what the best beer from the state of California is?
Luckily, Stacker set out to find the best beers every state has to offer. To determine its results, Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time.
According to their findings, the best beer from California is Pliny The Younger from the Russian River Brewing Company.
Here's what Stacker had to say about the beer:
"The sister suds to Russian River’s breakthrough double IPA, Pliny The Elder, the triple IPA Pliny the Younger ups the ABV value to double digits. Unsurprisingly from a triple IPA, it’s very hops-forward with reviewers praising its “Aggressive hops, aggressive maltiness” and saying it’s 'absolute perfection!'"
