While it's definitely not a winter wonderland in San Diego, there are still ways to immerse yourself into the holiday spirit this year.
Luckily, San Diego has several outdoor skating rinks to help you get into the holiday spirit without having to face the cold.
According to FOX5, these are some of the best outdoor ice skating rinks in the San Diego area:
- Rady Children's Ice Rink at Liberty Station
- Runs from Nov. 18 to Jan. 9, 2022 (CLOSED Christmas Day)
- Open daily from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
- Located at 2641 Truxtun Rd, San Diego, CA 92106
- Proceeds directly support the Thriving After Cancer program at the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
- Skating by the Sea
- Runs from Nov. 22 to Jan 2, 2022 (OPEN on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & Day)
- Open Mon.-Fri. from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., Sat. from 11:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., Sun. from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
- Located at the Hotel del Coronado lawn
- Proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego
