Check This List To See If San Diego Owes You Money

Each year the City of San Diego provides a list to the public of residents and businesses who are owed money, in most cases for overpaying taxes or utilities.

This year, the Department of Finance reports that 1,070 San Diego residents and businesses are on the list and owed various amounts of money. Approximately $840,000 is waiting to be returned and the deadline to make a claim is June 20, 2022. Unclaimed funds are transferred into the city's general fund.

The list can be viewed at SanDiego.gov/finance/unclaimed.
