Ten people, including nine Navy sailors, have been arrested on felony charges tied to an assault at a house party in Jamul last year.
Deputies originally responded to the May 25th incident after a victim reported being assaulted and pistol-whipped, suffering major injuries.
A joint operation by the San Diego County Sheriff's Office and NCIS led to the arrests Tuesday. Investigators say several suspects were armed, and some were linked to criminal street gangs.
The suspects were taken into custody, and authorities say five guns and about 20-thousand dollars in cash were recovered during the operation.
