Amber Alert Accidently Featured "Chucky" from "Child's Play"

"Child's Play" characters Chucky and Glen Ray were used on an Amber Alert issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety on Friday. The alert is shown below.

The department told a Houston TV station, that the alert was a test, that was sent by accident. They also said that number of the graphic is not active.

The Alert even included a description which matches the characters "blue denim overalls, striped long sleeve shirt" "wielding a huge kitchen knife."

AMBER Alerts were first issued in the Dallas-Fort Worth part of Texas when broadcasters and law enforcement began working together and created an early warning system to help recover abducted children. AMBER stands for America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response, in memory of Amber Hagerman, a 9-year old girl who as kidnapped and murdered in 1996.
