Bigfoot Hunting Season Could Soon Be Legal In Oklahoma

An area in Oklahoma, long known for it's Bigfoot sightings may soon make legal to hunt the elusive creatures. State Representative Justin Humphrey has introduced a bill that would establish a 'Bigfoot hunting season' in the state.

The 19th District of Oklahoma covers an area that includes three state parks, where Bigfoot sightings and the annual Bigfoot Festival and Conference take place.

The bill faces a major obstacle however, Oklahoma's Department of Wildlife Conservation says they "do not recognize Bigfoot as a wildlife species in Oklahoma".

In the last few months Bigfoot sighting have occurred in Provo Utah and Virginia. Last winter, traffic cameras in Washington state captured footage that many thought was Bigfoot.
