Boy Brings Cocaine To School And Tells Class It Turns Him Into Superman

A 5-year-old little boy brought a bag of cocaine to school and explained that when he puts it in his mouth it turns him into Superman. The child's teacher at Lawrence School in Holyoke, Massachusetts reported it to the principal who called the police.

The boy told authorities that he found the bag with Superman labels on it in his living room. When talking about the white powder in the bag, the child told his teacher that "he puts it in his mouth."

When the police arrived at the child's home they arrested his father, 29-year-old Benny Garcia who is being held without bail. According to the prosecutor, when the police searched Garcia's apartment they found 38 individual baggies believed to be cocaine and 170 bags of heroin, some that had a Spiderman label like the one the child brought to school.

Authorities don't believe the boy ingested the drugs, but he underwent examination at a hospital and doesn't appear to have any medical issues. The 5-year-old boy and his infant sibling have both been taken into child services.
