According to residents in Scripps Ranch, they have been waking up to their vehicles being keyed and finally an arrest has been made in connection with these incidents.
A 75-year-old Amelia Bello is the primary suspect in a series of vandalism incidents. Bello was arrested on Sunday after surveillance video surfaced of her allegedly keying a truck.
Some neighbors are saying that their vehicles had been hit more than once.
“Came out first thing in the morning and found our truck with a big scratch," said Karen Franke.
The incidents reportedly started in January and have only spiked since then. Franke says she has talked to at least 30 other people who have had their cars keyed too.
