Gunman Open Fires At Food For Less In San Diego

A gun man at a Food 4 Less in San Diego has fled the scene on Sunday night after he open fired during a robbery attempt.

Witnesses say the gunman entered the food 4 Less store off of University Ave around 11:50pm and was wearing a hood and a mask. 

The gunman demanded money from several employees in the store.  When he saw the store manager he chased him to the back of the store where he demanded money.  The manager locked himself in the back room, and after the gunman could not gain entry into the room he fired two shots at the door.

Police said that the gunman immediately ran out of the store and has not been seen since.  The gunman did not get away with any money, according to police.
