Prince Harry Gets Job Offer From Burger King

After the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they have stepped down as senior royals of the British monarchy, and are working to become "financially independent," fast food giant Burger King stepped up to offer the Duke a job.

Burger King in Argentina quickly responded to the announcement with an ad campaign featuring their iconic crown and the copy “We found out that the prince and the duchess decided to give up their roles in the royal family and will work to become financially independent. So, we have a proposition for you: Do as thousands of people and take your first steps in the world of work with us. You know that the crown will suit you perfectly.

Also, after so many years of living as dukes, it is time for you to start eating like kings.”

The company also took to social with a series of social posts offering these clever quips:

  • “This royal family offers part-time positions.”
  • “Dear Dukes, you can look for your first job without giving up the crown.”
  • “If you’re looking for a job, we have a new crown for you.”

Of course the job offers are all in jest, but the team at Burger King is getting great press from the campaign and huge social engagement.
