Toyota Recalls 700,000 Vehicles Due To Faulty Fuel Pump

Toyota has announced a recall that will affect nearly 700,000 vehicles in the U.S. because of faulty fuel pumps. The faulty pumps can fail during operation, causing the vehicle to stall, which can seriously increase the risk of a crash.

The recall includes the top selling cars in the U.S., the Toyota Camry and Corolla. The company said that it is still working on resolving the issue and expects to send vehicle owners letter some time in March of 2020.

VEHICLES AFFECTED BY RECALL

2018 and 2019 Lexus models:

LS 500, LC 500, RC 350, RC 300, GS 350, IS 300, ES 350, LX 570, GX 460 and RX 350 models.

2018 and 2019 Toyota models:

4Runner, Camry, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma and Tundra models. Some 2019 models also are affected including the Avalon and Corolla.
