TBT: My Ghetto Halloween Costume

I don't have a ton of memories about Halloween growing up. I can only remember a couple of my costumes and one that I always thought was amazing, actually was the most ghetto costume ever. I was Cookie Monster one year. I have fond memories of this costume. I thought it was legit. Now looking back at it, it may be the most ghetto costume ever!  My Mom made it and really all she did was put googly eyes on a beanie! This is the worst part though. I guess to have the illusion of me being Cookie Monster, she had me hold up this white sign to block my face. Is this serious? Why didn't she paint my face blue?  Or at least have the sign be blue!  Oh well, at least I had good memories of it and must have liked it then. Although in the bottom picture, I don't look very happy. At least I'm playing with my Star Wars figures!
