It so weird driving home every day and seeing the slow death of the stadium. It's honestly hard to watch. I would have rather them just blow the thing up and be done with it. I've had a lot of memories from that place. Did the Chargers broadcast for 14 years from the parking lot there. And wen I worked at KCBQ back in the early 90s, I worked with Royce Blake and Denise White. Denise was a former Miss Oregon and she could sing. We were able to get her to sing the national anthem before a Padres game. So we actually did our morning show love from the stadium the day of and had her practice live on the stadium mic. I'm sure the people that lived close by weren't too happy hearing the anthem at 6:45 in the morning!
