Last week I ventured out to Little Italy and we ate at Davanti Enoteca. We had a great meal but one of the appetizers was one of the best things I've eaten in a while. It is their focaccia di recco. Holy smokes its good. I could have just eaten that. Its a type of flat bread and they have this delicious creamy cheese in the middle of it. Then they give you some honeycomb to spread on the top of it...good lord! If you like things sweet and salty, I'm telling you, this is a must have. Delicious! I can't stop thinking about it. Can't wait to go back and have it again.
