My last practice, I did something pretty different. I sat down and just talked to my players. We played a scrimmage the night before and I wanted to get their opinions about the game and how they played. I asked them to give me 1 thing they thought they did good in the game and 1 thing they think they needed to improve on. It was great to hear what they thought. Most of them were dead on. And it lead to more conversation about what to do in certain situations. Sometimes we adults can learn a lot from kids by just talking to them.
