Jack Pitching?

I am still sort of in shock. Yesterday as we were getting ready for practice, Jack said he wanted to try and throw from the mound. He has never shown any interest in pitching before and has never even tried it. But I said sure he can try. To my surprise, he was throwing strikes. So then I put a batter and there against him and he struck him out! So then as practice was winding down, I said he can throw to a few more guys and he did really well again! I was like...where has this been all this time?! We could have been working on this all year! But now we are down to our final games and its a little too late. But if he keeps wanting to play, then maybe we have found a new skill for him!
