We did it! What an amazing, stressful, challenging, fun season. Our team started out getting mercy ruled in our first two games. But we put our heads down and worked hard and got better every game. We had injuries and obstacles all year. But I told them, it’s not how you start it’s how you finish. And now we are champions! We won our league championship last night and move on to represent La Mesa in the District TOC. Couldn’t be prouder of a group of players. All had great attitudes all year. Jack had a bases clearing triple in the championship game to help us win it. The three of us coaches and their kids won back to back championships. Something I know I’ll never forget. More baseball! Let’s go Blue Jays!
