Friday was incredibly painful. The worst pain. We said goodbye to our most special, Lucita. I have known this day was coming but never put it into reality. I adopted Lucita in 2007 when she was 1. Ever since I got her, she has been the calmest, sweetest, most loving and Eeyore-like being ever. She was there for me at some very hard times. She was there as I met Robert and our family was started. She was there when we brought Reed home. Always so gentle. Our hearts are so heavy but I need to keep reminding myself that she isn’t in pain anymore. She’s crossed the rainbow bridge. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 We will always love you, our sweet Lucita. Our Mamacita.
